Description

Applications:

Suitable for welding mild steel and high tensile steel up to 490 MPa in ships, bridges, buildings and pressure vessels.

Characteristics on usage:

LB-52 welding wire is a low hydrogen flux covered welding wire that is widely used in welding high tensile steel up to 490 MPa in every welding position. LB-52 provides welds that Resist cracking has mechanical properties and can pass excellent X-ray inspection. In addition, LB-52 provides a smooth arc. Easy to knock out the slack and the weld seam scales are uniform and beautiful

Notes on usage:

1) The welding wire should be dried before use at a temperature of 30-350ºC for 30-60 minutes.
2) The backstep technique should be used to start the arc. Or you could start an arc on a small piece of steel. Before starting welding, move the arc stretcher towards the area to be welded. To prevent air bubbles from forming at the beginning of the weld seam.
3) Keep the arc distance as short as possible. To prevent the arc flame from extinguishing and prevents the formation of air bubbles
